Good Morning! For this inspiration post I decided to take a look at some of the images created for the fun Pink Paislee stamps in order to come up with something. I was immediately drawn to the bird on the Vintage Pop stamp set.
I used the Spring Fling Collection to make my birdie and some flowers for a fun wreath. I also added the Legal Notices from the back of my local Redmond Spokesman to add some flowers and a vintage feel to my wreath.

I’m a huge fan of my circle punches when it comes to making quick and easy flowers. I hand cut the newspaper so that it wouldn’t be perfectly circular because I liked the look, and added it between my large circle and the small circle petals.

For my bird, I used a piece of white cardstock to make my bird pattern. I then trimmed out the Skipping Stones paper in my desired shape, adhered it to the blue cardstock, and then trimmed it out a bit larger. I used the same method for the bird wing using the Spring Flowers paper and green cardstock, but I trimmed the cardstock using some scalloped scissors.

As I’ve said before, I am often inspired by the patterns in the designs for embellishments. Let the images in the fun Pink Paislee stamps inspire you too, and create something! I’d love to see what you come up with.
Have a great week! It’s almost JULY! Davinie
