A Grassy Behind…Priceless

Good morning!  This week I created a layout featuring Pop Fashionand all the embellishments to go with the line;  papers, die cut papers, rub-ons, top siders, letter stickers, and stamps.

I’ve held on to these pictures of Chloe from last summer for just the perfect papers.  You know how it goes, right?!  When I paired them with the Pop Fashion line I knew it was time to scrap them.

As I browsed over all the pieces that were in the Pop Fashion collection I came across the Pop Fashion stamp set that included the clear stamp ‘priceless.’  I immediately knew how I would incorporate this into my layout.

First I used the die cut paper Hip Huggers.  I love the metallic sheen to this paper.  Next I cut the Bermuda Shorts paper and really roughed up the edges.

I cut some blue bling Bazzill cardstock in a circle to enhance my title block.  I matted my pictures on rose colored Bazzill cardstock.  After distressing the edge of blue circle i hand stitched around the circumference….I think stitching looks wonderful, but since my sewing machine broke it takes FOREVER to stitch lol.

I took one of the ‘shape’ top siders and placed the sticker onto the chipboard, sanded the edge, then stamped the word ‘priceless’ with the Pop Fashion clear stamp set.  I used the Fashion Script alphabet for the rest of my title.  I took the little star cardstock stickers to highlight ‘priceless’ and added bling to the centers.  I then used the Pop Fashion Icons to rub-on the butterfly, and the Pop Fashion Accents to make the dotted lines.  The Pop Fashion Accentsalso worked perfectly on either side of the title block (these are my favorite!)  Of course a little bling on the rub-ons were necessary =)

Next I sewed on some buttons, added a flower, and stamped the butterfly using the Pop Fashion clear stamp set.  Again I added some pink bling to the butterfly body and slightly bent the wings before gluing it down.

Lastly I cut a side from the Jellies die cut paper to line the bottom of my layout.  I placed one of the top sider shape stickers at the bottom of the layout and cut off the excess.  This will be the platform for my journaling which reads:

“One Circo bathing suit $10.99.  One Slip-n-Slide $18.99.  One grassy behind…priceless.”

This is probably one of my favorite layouts to date.  The Pop Fashion line is so versatile and easy to work with.  I cannot wait to see what everyone does with this line!
