So who doesn’t like a little sparkle in their lives? I know that I sure do and one of the perfect ways to add some wonderful sparkle is with the Pink Paislee Pixee Stix.
There are lots of fun ways to use the Stix glitter but today since we are concentrating on words, I used them on the Holly Doodle letter stickers. All that you need is a glue pen or a small paintbrush and a liquid adhesive. Apply your stickers to your project as desired then brush over each letter with glue and pour on the glitter from the Pixee Stix.

On the layout I used two different colors of the Pixee Stix, “Cream Soda” and “Silver Berry”. Of course, when you work with more than one on a page or project, you will want to finish each color before you start to work with the next one. That way your glitters won’t mix.

The layout is made with the new “Sweet Cakes” papers (and you thought that they could only be used for a girls page.) Not!!!!
I actually love the colors with my photos and the black helps to make them not look so girly and sweet.
Because I was having so much fun sparkling up those letter stickers, I decided to make one more thing using the same technique. This time a little WInter/Christmas project with sparkly greetings.

I followed the same steps listed above then added some Pink Paislee Press Ons and a few gems for more sparkle. I forgot to mention above that I also used a fine point permanent black marker to outline each of the letters once they were dry. Another tip when working with glitter and tiny spaces is that it works great to use a small dry paintbrush to wipe off any excess glitter pieces that want to stick to the surface of your project. Using your fingers could take forever, but using a dry paintbrush lifts up and brushes off those clingy little sparkles that don’t belong on the project. It also works great to wipe glitter off of your photos.

Now don’t you just want to get out those Pixee Stix and glitter up some letters? The colors are perfect matches to the papers. On the block set I used “Silver Berry”, “Raspberry” and “Green Apple”. They sound as good as they look.
Happy glittering!
Linda
