Traditional Christmas Colors Christmas Decoration- Yep, it can be done!

Hi All, Katie Watson here.  I hope you’re having a beautiful Fall morning.  I live in California and we are having our very first week of Fall weather!

Despite loving this Fall morning, I have been working on some Holiday gifts already…yep, I am trying to be a good boyscout and “be prepared”!

I am a traditional girl…I really am…but somehow the colors of Tinsel Town have won me over and I am IN LOVE with the hues of Magenta in this line.  Really, I am.

But, while working on my 3rd decoration…I spied the Strawberry glitter….it just sparkled out at me…and thought to myself…”hmmmmm….let’s make this a traditional color decoration”…So I did.  I also found a super cute place to hang it!

I took a banner book and flipped the pages upside down to make the trees.  Lots of glitter and I have a vintage looking verticle banner!

I ended up using 3 different colors of Pixee Stix, Strawberry, Silver Berry and Chocolate.  I also used the “Happy Holidays” stamp, “A Christmas Carol“ paper and the “White Christmas” paper.  I love the way it turned out and hope my daughters teacher likes it, it’s her Christmas present!!
