There are many signs at this time of the year that remind each of us to celebrate how blessed we are in life. Everyone has something to be thankful for– whether it is with monetary things or with the beauty and gifts of the senses that everyone is able to enjoy, if they recognize them as such.
One way of acknowledging our blessings is through our scrapbook pages. By creating with our thoughts and photos the pages can tell a story, capture a memory, or even testify of our faith. Sometimes there are many words on a page and sometimes only a title, but either way they can be one of the strongest elements on the page.
I chose to highlight the intent of my page by making the “title” a part of the verse. The Holly Doodle alphabet stickers add a pop of bold letters to the verse and because I layered them onto a transparency, they literally lift off of the page and get your attention as to what the theme of the photos and design are.
