Friday’s Feelings :)

Hello everyone!

I’m happy and scared at the same time to write my first blog post ever for Pink Paislee :)

This Friday, I wanted to show you a layout I made for my little Nephew, Elouan, who is such a sweetheart. I am not used to scrapping babies, I don’t have any myself yet, so I was quite impressed by this beautiful photograph of him.

What should I write? What would be my title? What are the important things I want him to know?

Those were the questions I was asking myself. I needed to ask myself the good questions in order to show him what was meaningful for me and for him :)

I couldn’t resist using the Captivating collection, because it is so sweet and so boyish at the same time.

I simply used the whole set of Fancy Frames directly from the clear transparency, put some brown ink on top of them all and stamped directly onto my blue background.

Then, stamp some of the stamps onto different patterned papers, cut the inside out and adhere it inside each similar stamp.

This allows you to add a pattern inside each stamp and then focuse on your journalling and the words that matters :)

For the cute trees, I used some rubons from the Vintage Moon sheet and from the Enchanting set and add them onto patterned papers. Cut the paper like a tree shape.

Now, I know Elouan will know what I feel for him in a few years :)

Thanks and take care! :)

Happy weekend!

Céline
