Hi my name is Carole Janson and this is my very first Post for Pink Paislee so I am very proud and very exciting.
Sketches aren’t something that I tend to do, I really just fly by the seat of my pants so to speak, so this really was a lot of fun,designing and creating this sketch, I hope you enjoy it.
So here is the sketch and as you can see there is no photo marked on it, that is because you can put the photo where ever you like and how many you like, as you will see by my example I have put my photo in the middle of the layout, but it is really up to you, and there is also areas marked for embellishing, as I love to embellish.
I loved using the gorgeous Enchanging range to create this layout, the Enchanting pattern papers to this range are so yummy, and so very pretty, ideal for the feel I was looking for. I also used the Enchanting Sticker Book and also the very Enchanting Chipboard Elements (My favourite), which I used to create all my embellishments.
To create the cute little pom poms all I did was trim a piece of the Enchanting pattern paper 12 x 2 inches and cut with scissors along the long side of the strip to create a type of frill. I then put glue along the other side of the strip (which had not been cut) and then rolled the strip up really carefully, this formed the pom pom, which I then stuck onto my layout with dimensional glue, very easy and very quick.
I also used the gorgeous Enchanting brads to create the centre of the flowers and I finished of with the Enchanting Chipboard Alphas for the title.
To finish off the whole project I added hand stitching, I normally add all my stitching at the end, when everything else has been placed onto the layout.
