Happy Thursday! It’s time for Thursdays Trends!
I’ve been noticing a lot of layouts with a masking technique in the background and really wanted to give it a try! So, what I’ve done here is peel off the backing from the blue swirl chipboard and laid it down on my patterned paper. I applied a light brown ink by rubbing the ink pad over the mask. Then I carefully lifted up the mask and viola! I have a custom background that goes with the theme of the layout! I layered the blue swirl chipboard right over the top.
1.2.3. Whee!
Here is the technique up close and personal. These photos are of my daughter, Kati last summer going down the slide and they make me giggle every time I look at them! Journaling says, “Let’s do it again”, you kept saying! A little fast, but you didn’t seem to mind! I love your expressions!
