Hello everyone! Hope you are all having a great weekend so far. It cooled down here this weekend, and I just LOVE it! It really puts me in a Fall kind of mood. Halloween will be here soon. We just love Halloween at our house… the decorating, carving pumpkins, dressing up, candy… all of it. Are you ready for it? We made a trip to the pumpkin patch yesterday and did a little costume shopping. Not much longer to go now.
For today’s Stampin’ Sunday blog post, I went with a Halloween theme and focused on using stamps in an unexpected way. I used the little postage stamp from the Twilight Impressions Stamp Set to make spooky eyes that ended up being the O’s in my sentiment.
For this, I just inked and stamped the circle part of the postage stamp. This was very easy, and it adds a fun and unusual twist to the card. I also used the All Hallows Eve stamp from the set for some visual interest too.
Pink Paislee products used: Twilight – Sunset, Eclipse, Twilight Impressions Stamps; Expressions Glitter Alphabets-Berry Blue
Other products used: glitter cardstock sticker, buttons, ribbon, ink
I hope that this gets you to start looking at your stamps in new ways.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
