My favorite Holiday Meal is Ham…although I love turkey Ham I am addicted to…probably not good for blood pressure, but winning that prize would be hahaha!! Thanks for the chance at such a delicious prize! Love, Jess
We’ve been having steak on Christmas Eve with just our own family, and then on Christmas Day we go to my parents’ house and we have ham with potatoes, my favorite meal. These prizes just keep getting better and better!
I don’t really have a favorite holiday meal, my mom doesn’t always make turkey, but it’s always delicious. We do however have a traditional fruit salad, but I don’t like it because my dad always insists to have apples in it! Blech!
We’ve always had turkey for Christmas dinner. But growing up our family’s biggest tradition surrounding food for Christmas was that my Dad would make omelettes for breakfast on Christmas morning. My Dad generally didn’t do much of the cooking at our house but he does make very good omelettes. I have continued the tradition of having a special breakfast on Christmas morning with my family.
The giveaway grows up by seconds!!! =) thanks for the chance to win this fabulous prize!!!
My preferred holiday meal has always been Turkey and quite ironically the identical meal we had at Thanksgiving typically shows up for christmas. Have always loved that!
We also do a big mexican meal with all of the fixin’s! I grew up eating turkey and ham and a zillion desserts but my husband grew up with a mexican family and they would have this giant feast on Christmas Eve you are talking about. We just recreated it only on Christmas Day. It’s sometimes a little strange for me to be BBQing on Christmas day because I grew up in Colorado! That was not an option:)
Christmas Eve is potatoe soup and Christmas Day is usually Ham with all the fixins’!! Yummo!
ooh, the mexican food sounds great to me! my personal favorite! but we’re having ham…
We usually have turkey, ham, and eye of round roast along with stuffing, green beans, hash brown casserole, broccoli casserole, corn casserole, sweet potatoes, cauliflower salad, my mom’s delicious homemade yeast rolls, and an array of pies and cakes!
Christmas Eve we usually have the DH’s Soldiers over and the guys always go crazy on the grill. They will cook anything they can get their hands on! Last year their favorite thing was a Beer-Butt Chicken. The DH says that will forever be a tradition now…oye! Our Christmas morning always starts out with Sticky buns, a recipe handed down from my great grandmother….And SO delicious! Then for Christmas day we typically go hang out with the family at my Grandparents house and basically eat a repeat Turkey Dinner!
all these producys are totally wonderfull , i love pink paisley ^^
We have beef tenderloin and baked potaoes with a salad. Christmas eve is usually something italian like meatball subs, lasagna or baked ziti. Oh and of course tons of yummy Chirstmas Cookies!
My mom always made oyster stew for my dad on Christmas eve. We kids had PB&J! Ha, dont know what that tradidion was, but came from Germany and ended with my parents generation. We had traditional ham on christmas day with a large family gathering.
We just thanks to God to can be together one more year.
Thanks for the chance to win those amazing papers.
Mexican feast? That’s awesome (I’m a huge taco lover). But, I’m traditional, and definitely love a good trukey on Christmas
by the time CHristmas arrives, my family is a bit tired of turkey, so we eat lots of Italian food! YUMMY!
Another great giveaway! Although we aren’t Italian we like to eat yummy Italian food like stuffed shells and meatballs. Yum getting hungry just thinking about it!
nine is fine!!! We usually have standing rib roast, Yorkshire pudding and roasted potatoes with a green vegetable. YUM!
we have turkey and all the trimmings
We usually have ham or turkey on Christmas, but I don’t really like either that much….I love the idea of having tacos!
We are pretty traditional at my house…turkey and dressing with all the fixin’s! I could eat dressing everyday! But I think everyone else in my family may be a little burned out on it since Thanksgiving and the leftovers. Maybe we’ll have a fiesta for Christmas too or a cookout (I live in Texas, so we can literally cookout year-round- LOL!) Thanks for sharing your tradition and also for the great giveaways!
Christmas Eve is LOTS of Homemade goodies and finger type snacks, before the grandkids open their new PJ’S! (Yes, they know now it’s PJ’s every Christmas Eve, But they still LOVE them!) Our BIG Christmas Meal is Breakfast on Christmas morning after seeing what Santa brought and opening gifts. It’s always Homemade Angel Biscuits and Sausage Gravy, Breakfast Casserole, Sausage, Bacon and French Toast Casserole! YUMMY! I can’t wait! Thanks again for the chance to win me some goodies! Happy Holidays!
Me-Ma Kim
We usually do dinner out for Christmas Eve or steaks at home and then on Christmas day its usually a traditional dinner with my DH’s family featuring Pork Roast. This year we are going to travel to my side and its a Mexican Feast all the way.. I am so looking forward to my own family after 11 years of not being able to see them for Christmas. It will be very special indeed.
On Christmas Eve my mom lets everyone pick their 1 favorite thing and she makes it. It ends up being a hodgepodge meal. but really fun!
On Christmas day – I always cook “Roast Beast”….. a prime rib roast cooked with a pink center. Just like I used to have as a kid.
Sides are mashed potatoes, corn and some chocolatey cake for dessert.
Love the goodies!………..I’m dreaming of a Pink (Paislee) Christmas…….!!!
My Mom makes some kick @$$ breaded pork tenderloin on Christmas Eve!
On Christmas Day, we usually just eat snacky food/appetizers all day… Swedish meatballs, shrimp cocktail, cheese, sausage, crackers, Philly-chili dip, taco dip, and of course LOTS of Christmas cookies & sweets
I love turkey AND ham…and butter biscuits and macaroni and cheese and peanut butter balls….mmmm…the perfect holiday meal!!
We like to “graze” on wonderful appetizers! Better than someone (me!) having to cook all day, then clean the rest of the day!
My family is Italian and we make homemade ravioli which we serve with prime rib and all the fixins. Oh my mouth is watering right now!!
gotta be turkey – old fashioned roasted turkey with mashed potatoes and these smushed carrots & turnip dish my mom makes – everyone else hates it but me – but she still makes it :>
On Christmas, my grandma always has doughnuts for breakfast and a large ham lunch for everyone to enjoy. Since we have turkey on Thanksgiving – ham is for Christmas. Thanks for the chance to win!!
Ohh my Holiday meals are always so delicious!!!
My favs are my moms Turkey (on New Years Eve) and a smoked pork!
wow- super cute chipboard shapes to go with the super cute chipboard borders!
Oh, yummy day! Christmas morning is my favorite! We always have carmel pecan rolls and this to-die-for egg dish that is made into a yule log type roll – sounds funny but it is DELISH! Oh, and hash browns, can’t forget those! It’s a once a year thing and it’s making my mouth water right now!
My preferred Holiday meal is actually on Christmas eve – for years and years my family has had the tradition of having “snacks” or heavy hors o’deuvres (sp?) on Christmas eve. We have taco dip, meatballs, little mustard weinies, vegetable tray, cheeseball and crackers, sausage balls, pepper jelly and crackers, vanilla pound cake, sugar cookies, homemade bread, and anything else we can think of!
It is awesome!
We always have ham and pineapple with all the fixings. Plus I make it a tradition to make tons of Christmas cookies and treats.
The christamas candy table of course*’LOL*
And one of my favorite dishes on our christmas table is the ribs yummi!
My favorite Christmas food is turkey. homemade dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy. No one cooks like my mother-in-law. Her meals are out of this world. I baked my 1st pecan pie this week and my husband and I ate it in 2 days!!!! I dare not make another for practice. Next time will be for Christmas Eve dinner with my family. Merry Christmas everyone.
Yum,….Mexican! …we have roast beef. ….and that is way better than nine ladies dancing!!!
We don’t have a “real” meal. We do a buffet of all of our favorites: smoked fish, spinach dip, chip dip, shrimp dip, cranberries, ham, etc.
I love the Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all the fixens’. On Christmas Eve we each bring a side dish to share so it’s never the same … but always good.
I love to have Ham, Augratin Potatoes, cranberries (I eat cranberries with everything.) Fresh streamed green beans, and lots of desserts.
In the morning every year I make my sausage gravy and biscuts.
My favorite holiday meal is a salad…. it’s the only thing which can ease the guilt of the massive amount of cookies we all eat:)
My husband and I started a Christmas Eve tradition where we order Chinese for dinner. It was a little odd at first but now it just fits and my kids think everyone else is weird for not doing it. I love Chinese!
I like meatballs, it is just what we have alwyas had, meatballs in the crockpot so we can eat whenever since there is lots of craziness with our big family
We celebrate Hanukkah, so a traditional holiday meal includes potato pancakes (latkes) (and other vegetables has joined the feast along the year) and doughnuts.
I could skip the entire meal and just go for pumpkin pie. In my younger (i.e. skinny) days, I made two pies each holiday – one for everyone else and one for me (not really, but I used to eat a lot of pie). It’s still my favorite today!
I am coming over to your house! We have lasgna, beef tenderloin, scalloped potatoes and various side dishes. Yum!
Tacos… how funny! My grandmother used to have a different nationality every Christmas! So one year, we had pizza… then there was enchiladas… then we had sour krout and pork roast….then back to the enchiladas… One year, we had Popeye’s chicken (that was my personal favorite!)… one year was corned beef and cabbage. Now we have gone back to traditional meals. But if she decides to be lazy, we might just have ham sandwiches and other finger foods.
i love to eat everything.
we try to never have the same feast twice. the first year that DH and I hosted Christmas, we had steaks and a shrimp&scallop scampi with layered salad, asparagus (complete with homemade hollandaise and beurre blanc sauces), and garlic potatoes. the following year, we did a brunch with a ham, broccoli, asparagus strata, fresh fruit salad, pancakes, and bacon. you get the idea… we like to change it up
My husband is Swedish so we have salmon, ham, swedish meatballs with trimmings of salads and breads.
oh good!! my favorite chistmas meal is the turkey but also, saumon, foie gras, je suis très gourmande hihi
Love my Scandinavian roots and having traditional Swedish smorg for Christmas YUMMO!!!
we always make a spinach salad with eggs, bacon, and green onions with a mustard vinagrette. we could totally make this any time of the year, but we ONLY have it a christmas. and boy, oh, boy is it good!
Ham, cheesy potatoes, and cheesecake!
I love turkey, especially with cranberries. Since Thanksgiving was in October for us Canadians, I am up for a good dose of cranberries and turkey. Thank you for being so generous, what gifts!
Hugs
Tanya
I always cook turkey for christmas day. Someone is going to have a great christmas with all these goodies.

I had friends who had tacos on Thanksgiving and I was super jealous. I would love if my family would eat tacos on Christmas. they won’t. I think I will make myself some tacos and see who still wants to eat that ham. I love brunch Christmas morning.
Well, my hubby is Italian so when I first went over for the holidays it was quite different. What I have grown to love is pasta. They make everything themselves so don’t ask me to remember what they are called. I would only shame myself. LOL!!!
Turkey is our usual meal. Stuffing, Mashed potatoes,,,
We make brunch breakfast pizzas… french toast pizza, scrambled egg & sausage pizza, fruit & cream cheese pizza… and after all that, we pretty much just snack the rest of the day on ham sandwiches and other no stress food:)
Turkey!!!! Love it + my mom’s Meat pie!
Love the giveway!!!!
We usually have about the same thing to eat on Christmas day that we had on Thanksgiving. Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, glazed carrots, corn, rolls and butter. My niece is from Texas and she always makes us a southern dish of something. Then the yummy desserts, pies and cookies! Yum Yum!!
We spend every Christmas day seeing the newest holiday movie so our meal usually consists of a hot dog and popcorn!
Merry Christmas Pink Paislee.
I like turkey for Thanksgiving & Christmas. Plus a ham on Christmas! Love the giveaway, all of my favorite Christmas items from you!
I love the traditional holiday foods–turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes (my fav!), and lots of sweets
We love HoneyBaked Ham. We have one every year when we decorate our tree the 2nd Saturday in Dec. It’s this weekend! I’m so excited!
We do the big turkey and mashed potatoes dinner at my parents’ place on Boxing Day. I have to say though that my favourite part if the turkey sandwiches the next day (on really fresh bread)! Yummy!
MMMM, I love that idea of a big Mexican feast on Christmas Eve!!! YUMMO!!!
Speaking of yummo ~ my fave of the Christmas meal is the cabbage rolls, hands down!!!! {{LOL}}
Oh and more yummo is the goodies, awesome!!
we usually have pasta, chicken, baked potato, ham, and fruit cocktail
Because all of our three children don’t like the traditional german christmas meal we do something very special for them. They love Raclette but they don’t like potatoes so much. So they get what they love most: pasta. We eat Raclette with different types of noodles, vegetables, salami, bacon, mushrooms, onions and with different sauces like pesto, bolognese and tomato and everyone can decide which cheese he prefers.
This also means less time for preparation and more time for one another and to enjoy the christmas time.
I’m all for stuffing and cranberry sauce!
On Christmas Eve we have mexican food and on Christmas day we have a traditional turkey and dressing meal. These prizes keep getting better and better.
We always have a Christmas ham. So yummy!
We don’t have a tradition, they’re all at the mercy of me
I made Turkey for Thanksgiving, so it’s Ham this Christmas…with all the fixins(aka 3 cheese scalloped potatoes!)
When we visit my family for Christmas, our tradition is to try a new country’s cuisine each year. After we either make, or purchase the meal, we learn a little about the country, and the holidays/Christmas they celebrate. We’ve only started this since my siblings and I have gotten married, and its been really fun to learn and try new things.
Dessert!
Being a vegetarian, I mostly look forward to the “sides.” Anything with potatoes and of course, dessert.
Since we live in Maryland, we have a holiday dinner of seafood…crab cakes, shrimp and oysters. Don’t forget the Old Bay seasoning!!
Nine is my lucky number!!
On Christmas eve, we always buy a ton of tiny frozen entrees: escargot en croute, calamari, cheese puffs, etc. and we make a meal of it!
Lasagna…that is our typical Christmas Eve dinner….then ham on Christmas day!!
Love the traditional Christmas dinner…turkey, sweet potatoes, dressing, etc.
For Christmas dinner we do the whole turkey feast. On Christmas eve we like to do finger foods. Meatballs, 7 layer dip, chips, things like that. Then we’re not spending all day cooking and can enjoy our time together.
I prefer turkey for every holiday, but I always end up making a lasagna on Christmas Day. Also yummy!!
At my mom’s house, we always have turkey and ham, along with everything that goes with it! Although one year, when it was just my hubby, our girls and me, we had breakfast for dinner. French toast, eggs, fruit salad, biscuits, etc. It was an awesome day!!
- April
We always have turkey, but I’ve been dying to do an italian meal…I love pasta (and unfortunately, it loves me back on my hiney) but I think it would be awesome to break from the traditional and try something new!
(Pink me! I can provide a very good and loving home for them…)
We are often many, many miles from home at my in-law’s, so we usually have what they have.
Could be beef, could be ham, but always good since we’re with family.
Coming from a Big Italian Family we have an Italian Feast for Christmas. From appetizers to Italian cookies for dessert everything is Italian!!! So Yummy!!!
Growing up we often had Quail and biscuits, but since my grandpa has gotten older and is not hunting anymore we’re pretty much in the turkey/ham grouping.
Hubs cooked goose last year. We are hoping for veal or something exotic. Don’t like the traditional turkey meal!
O-KAY!!! YOU GUYS ARE ALL MISSING OUT! I know turkey is easy to drool over, but I SO looked forward to my SECOND Christmas every year – UKRAINIAN CHRISTMAS!
***** YOU KNOW THE TRADITIONAL DINNER, Perogies, cabbage rolls, all that food,…….
MMMMMmmmmm, I’m hungry now!

For Christmas it is usually Prime Rib, French Onion Soup, Twice Baked Potatoes, and a salad. This year we are doing appetizers though!
I agree this IS so much better than the french hens!!
ham for christmas and then a certain family member (not naming names) gets all emotional and has a cow. ahhh, family tradtions:)
We have a huge potluck on Christmas Day with the two staples being turkey and ham. All the relatives bring different specialties, some old favorites, others new discoveries. The last several years we have had a great time with the chocolate fountain! Fun stuff!
Our Christmas dinner is spaghetti !!! My Grandmother started it years ago and we have kept the tradition – totally a different dinner than the traditional ham or turkey !!!
Anything i dont have to cook, this year we’re at home alone, so Im thinking Pizza….
I wonder if they can make a turkey pizza.. thats sounds yummmm
In Denmark, we eat duck on Chrismas Eve:) My mother in law cooks the BEST christmas dinners… Don’t tell my mum
Christmas eve is ALWAYS homemade slow-cooked chili, corn bread, and a tossed salad. Always! It’s been a tradition for at least 10 years now! Christmas day can be different every year but Christmas eve is always the same!
Blessings,
Garsy
We have Christmas Dinner on Christmas Eve… and it is always Ham. My favorite part of the meal, and what everyone alwys requests every year is my mom’s famous Cheesy Smashed Potatoes. You can’t beat all the cheesy goodness!!!
I’m all about the homemade sweets!
Our family tradition is pork form the “caja china” or turkey. Of course with the usual suspects of sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce and stuffing…
HI,LOVE PINK! My family has ham and seafood for Christmas day crshared with family and friends. On Christmas Eve we have a much more fun with food. We stay in pj’s eating baked treats and finger foods. We watch movies, play games and do some kind of craft.
I don’t have a holiday family tradition.
Perhaps just going to dinner together? I love the holidays though! So much love and fun and family togetherness.
Thanks for the chance to win!
Christmas mean Cinnamon Rolls in the morning, and Ham for the big meal at our house.
We make Tamales and enjoy them on Christmas day.
Definitely turkey with dressing (ONLY my Grandma’s recipe!!!!!)!
It’s an Italian tradition to have a seafood feast on Christmas Eve. We have shrimp wrapped in bacon, calamari and ususally some type of seafood with linguini. It is so delicious! Speaking of eating, I am eating my heart out over your generous prizes! Thanks for your generosity and your beautiful scrapbooking supplies!
We usually have turkey, though we have had goose or duck in the past. Must be a bird!
Honeybaked ham!!!
It’s got to be turkey. I tried to suggest a radical change this year, and to try chinese food, or mexican food for something different–but that idea was vetoed.
I’m okay with turkey but what I really love are the trimmings – mashed potatoes, veggies and wild cranberry sauce from berries that my grandma and I pick every fall in the swamp!
Honestly, it’s take out Chinese food for me. Seriously. I think it’s the whole salty/sweet thing. After eating my weight in sugary baked goods and fudge, I always want Chinese food.
We usually do a Christmas ham, but i’m not really a meat eater, so as long as we have the mashed potatoes i’m good. Carb heaven!!
the christmas Eve we always meat fish… Kiss!
Spinach and potato soup with Slovenian sausage that I have to order from Cleveland!
I’m starting to drool-over the give-away not the soup!

We always have turkey, rice with nuts, a cheese pie, and my mum makes a delicious desert with ice cream and sweet milk (milk cooked with sugar until it´s creamy)! Can´t wait!
For Christmas Day we have ham, turkey and dressing and all the fixings! But on Christmas Eve, hubby and I have a quiet fondue dinner at home – just the two of us! We get the best crusty bread we can find, some good Danish butter, a bottle of wine, a fondue pot of hot oil, a bit of steak, pork loin, chicken breast bits and breaded shrimp to cook in the hot oil. I make 4 sauces: remoulade, horseradish, teriyaki and sweet and sour, and have a plate of raw veggies – carrots, cauliflower, mushrooms, squash, etc. to also cook in the oil. We sit on cushions on the floor at the coffee table, with the lights out, a fire in the fireplace, the Christmas lights glowing and a good Christmas movie on the TV. And just hubby and me with time on our hands. Ahhhhh, bliss!!!
For Christmas we have a rib eye roast, my hubby’s homemade rolls (yummmmmmmm) and a spinach & strawberry salad, and of course cookies and pie (usually apple) for dessert!
it gets better and better! THANKS for the giveaway!
On Christmas Eve, we always have a traditional fish dinner at my in-laws. If I’m cooking on Christmas Day, I usually make turkey. And then it’s ham on New Year’s Day. Thanks for putting together such a great giveaway!
My favorite is stuffing and Tourtiere (French meat pie). We sometimes go in a diffferent direction and make home made pizza for Christmas dinner. lol
For Christmas dinner, we generally have the standard dinner: a roast turkey with all the fixings. This year, because I’ve gone vegetarian, we’re also going to offer a vegetarian selection for those of us (mostly just me) who don’t partake in the flesh.
We have this dinner with my family, usually, and after dinner we open gifts and follow gifts with dessert, which is usually homemade cherry pie.
I Like turkey and tiramisu for christmas dinner
Prime rib, no sides, and lots of chocolate!
I pretty much love to eat anything, but our family traditions include lasagne on Christmas Eve with one side of the family and then turkey and homemade raviollis on Christmas day with the other side of the family. Making me hungry just thinking about it!!

Well I hope that my tree wil be the one with the pink paislee…
About the christmass meal canalons (catalan style) with chicken patatoes with garlic sauce and homemade bread. For desert tiramisu or ice cream with pink champagne. And then some good coffee and christmass chocalat.
We always have the traditional turkey dinner….but my mom always makes chicken sew for Christmas Eve and that is yummy too!
My boys pick the holiday meal……..it’s usually popcorn shrimp, pizza rolls, meatballs, chips & cheese and punch. Whatever! They get the traditional stuff at both family parties (DH & my side).
Oh, I forgot to answer your question. We mostly eat small potatoes with nice groceries.
Well of course my favorites are the sugar cookies!!!!

We’re from Louisiana. We always have GUMBO! And later we have LOTS of dessert!
Our Christmas Day meal is the traditional turkey with dressing. My Mom makes the BEST Christmas meal and we always make sure to cook a lot so that we have plenty of leftovers for the next day.
oh my goodness I would love this pile under my tree!!!!
I love seafood for Christmas dinner.
Happy Day 9! Oh what a fabulous prize. Christmas dinner isn’t as important at our house as Christmas brunch – which is always sausage and cheddar strata, sourdough cinnamon rolls, fresh grapefruit picked from our tree. Yum. Actually that made me hungry! Thanks for another fun day of your giveaway. I love that you are having a mexican fiesta on the holiday.
WOW, WOW, WOW. Talk about bursting at the seams of scrap goodness.
Our Christmas tradition has always involved a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken, some sort of salad (macaroni or potato), spaghetti and a birthday cake for Jesus. =)
Loving the Christmas countdown and can’t wait for the very last day when all that goodness is revealed!
*hugs*
I love Honeybaked Ham at Christmas. It’s so worth the extra money. And of course there needs to be some cheesy corn casserole next to it.

we always do a Ham which is my FAVE and love love love it!!!!
Turkey for me please! It’s the only time of year I get it, now that I live so far from home. (I’ve never learned to cook one myself). Dad always told Mom to buy the biggest one she could find, so we would have lots of leftovers. Dad loved turkey. I still think of him when I’m eating the leftovers.
I’m all for doing something different this year, but my family hosts a huge Christmas Day get-together, and our guests are downright against anything aside from the traditional. So this year’s dinner will be pretty much the same as every other year… Ham, turkey, scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, pieroghis, veggies, mashed potatoes, stuffing, deviled eggs, fruit salad, bread, pumpkin pie, chocolate pie, cheesecake, tons of cookies, and scramble (think chex mix). All homemade. We don’t mind the work at all – this is my family’s way of giving something to our friends and family – and it’s wonderful having everyone together this time of year!
My absolute favorite is a “Traditional Italian Holiday Feast”. I remember going to a friends house one year and her family had the most amazing feast….every kind of fish you can imagine cooked every way you can imagine! I was so stuffed by the end of the evening…but it was SO YUMMY!
My favorite holiday meal…..hmmm….as long as there’s booze and toffee, and appetizers I am happy!
The traditional food at mom’s is Mashed Potatoes, Creamed mustard potato salad, corn, dressing, Turkey, Deviled Eggs, mac and cheese and pumpkin pies, oh yeah, and chocolate… MY new traditional food since I got married 3 years ago… Ham with brown sugar glaze and pineapples, turkey breast, mashed potatoes, crock-pot dressing, sausage balls, apple pie, and chocolate! Yum Yum, getting hungry already!!

I don’t have any traditions…my family it spread all over the world so ever year presents a new scenario LOL
We usually have turkey and then ham another day during the holidays… but I always enjoy a good mexican feast too!
We have prime rib. My husband and son-in-law cook. Ya!!! Love checking each day to see what fun goodies you post. Pink paislee is hard to find in Portland.
risotto (rice) with mushrooms is a must!
While I love the traditional Christmas dinner of ham, rolls, potatoes, etc. what my husband’s family does on Christmas Eve is homemade chili and it’s SO good. Especially great to warm us up before we head out to carol and look at the Christmas lights.
Christmas Eve is always cracked crab, salad and sourdough bread. Love living in the San Francisco Bay area. Christmas day varies, but this year the family would like Prime Rib.

I like to have a nice fish, stuffed is always yummy! I don’t eat other meat normally, but for my family, I had turkey on Thanksgiving. Sometimes we have Chinese take-out or lasagna for the holidays, too!
As the kids call it, “a big fat turkey”. We just bought a 20 lb bird. I’m salivating just thinking about it.
We always have turkey and a honey glazed ham and i dont like turkey but looove the ham. Yum

Ummm….cookies and candies!!!!!! ROFL Okay Christmas eve we usually have stromboli…Christmas varies–sometimes turkey, sometimes lasagna!
We have breakfast pizza in the morning, unroll a tube of pillsbury crescent rolls flat then top with eggs, sausage, and cheese. For dinner it depends on where we eat at. I like Ham but last year we did an Italian pot luck.
That would be turkey, perogies, cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes…gravy….apple pie…CHOCOLATES!!
Well I love the night before christmas… when the ham is newly baked with its egg and breadcrumb coating, we always take a knäckebröd sandwich (wholgrain crisp) with ham and mustard together with a big glass of milk. thats the greatest meal during the whole christmas for me.
Its the first taste of christmas..
//Katarina
we have Hawaiian Haystacks! YUMMY!!
TURKEY! Growing up we would have it 3 times a year: Thanksgiving, Christmas and my birthday (in July, because it was my favourite).
Hmmm..hmmm..hmmm…….hmmm.hmmm.
Things….are……looking…….goo………….d!
when i lived in a smaller town, my husband and i always put on a bar-b-que for all the people that couldn’t get home for christmas, or didn’t have a place to go. it was tons of fun, usually in the snow. now, instead of a big meal, i put out goodies , to munch on through out the day.
love having pizza on Christmas Eve….a childhood ritual we had as a family dinner at Pizza Hut every Christmas Eve before heading to Christmas Eve services.
On Christmas Eve we always have a buffet of some of our favorite foods: spinach dip, artichoke dip, bacon tomato cups, fruit salad, potato salad, cheese ball and little sandwiches – it’s an unusual mix of food, but I love it so much. On Christmas Day we have a turkey (this year fried – yum a new favorite) and leftovers from the night before.
Ham, cheddar mashed potatoes, cheesy broccoli, rolls, and mandarin salad is our usual fare but I’d love to have lasagna just once
My favorite holiday food is actually the delicious breakfast casserole we eat as brunch after opening gifts. I cook 2 varieties – one is made with eggs, cheese & heavy cream, and the other is a to-die-for cinnamon bun/cream cheese mixture. We end up eating dinner very late because we stay full so long from our morning meal!
Ever since I was a child, our X-mas feast revolved around breakfast. Even though my family can not be together for the holidays, I have continued this tradition with our neighbors. They now join us after we have unwrapped our holiday goodies and we gorge ourselves on bacon, eggs, saugsage, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, etc.
This giveaway just keeps getting better!!! Thanks Pink Paislee!
It is usually much too hot here for a hot christmas meal. It is usually a bbq (sausages, hamburgers etc). Or we might do cold meats and salad. We always start with bacon and egg muffins cooked on the bbq though
. YUM!
EEeee!! I get so excited when I look at that picture! Oh, I love!!
On Christmas Eve we always have a ham feast. Potatoes, salad, jello, green bean casserole, honey glazed ham, and my Grandmother’s famous rolls…. I think I just drooled.
It depend what side of the family we are one. My side we ussually have Filipino food and when we are with my in laws we eat Mexican food and if we stay at home its combination of both!
on christmas eve we have duck with all the trimmings. and on christmas day we have a baked lunch ith ham, chicken, lamb, roasted veges, yummy gravy and lots of desserts, No wonder we put on weight over cgrissy!!!
My favorite meal is one that someone else prepared!
Our family does turkey, filling, corn, another side veggie, and biscuits on Christmas Eve. And, lots of desserts! Then left overs on Christmas day.
Living in South Louisiana our tradidtional Christmas Eve meal is — SEAFOOD GUMBO!!!!
Every year everyone looks forward to going to church and then going to my parents house for their delicious gumbo. Ayyeeee! C’est se bon!
My favorite is turkey with all the trimmings, although it’s not always what’s on the menu. Usually my sister or sister-in-law hosts Christmas (because they have the most space), and they mix it up sometimes with ham & scalloped potatoes, or roast beef and all the trimmings. If that happens, we will sometimes make our own little turkey dinner on the weekend following Christmas just to have turkey!
)
Another amazing pack of goodies!! As I live in Australia our family tradition is to have a cold buffet for christmas……but we always have hot christmas pudding and custard!! Yum
You’ll have to wait for my reply after my eyes get done being glazed over from looking at all the stuff in that prize pkg!
I prefer Prime Rib, but DH likes ham. We keep the menu small, but I always make home made noodles to go with it. I’m starting to drool now…..oh wait, that’s from looking at the prize pkg. again.
Favorite holiday meal? Easy – homemade raviolis or lasagna!
Ohhh goodness… I almost forgot to come over to leave a post for the day! Hope I’m lucky!!
We started hosting Christmas day at our new house last year and I don’t like making turkey so I prepare my family’s favorite… Mushroom and Wine Chicken, and my mom’s brings the Prime Rib!
Mine would be a baked ham with yummy salads.
That pack of goodies is certainly growing….how excitement!
I’ve always preferred ham over turkey and my family usually makes both so that I’m taken care of
Yes, my mommy spoils me even at 31
hehe
I would have to say turkey with all the fixings
! Yummo :p!
Inky Hugs,

We having pizza on Christmas Eve, to give us to more time to prepping meals for next day PLUS give our stomach more room for declious christmas dinner.
My favorite meal is a Honey Baked Ham with scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole and rolls. Yummy!
On Christmas Eve, my mother-in-law always makes creamed chicken and mashed potatoes, with two kinds of soup, lots of salads and other side dishes. Occasionally for Christmas Day or whenever we go to my parents, the meal is beef tenderloin with twice-baked potatoes. It’s one of the few times a year we go all-out with a fancy meal.
We always have turkey even though it is summer in New Zealand. My family is originally from Canada so turkey is traditional. If it is really hot, Mom will roast the turkey early in the day and we will have it cold for dinner (but the stuffing and gravy will be hot). For dessert, we have frozen ice cream with dried fruit.
Ham is my favorite!
Happy Holidays to you Pink Paislee!
A family tradition is italian food on Christmas Eve… such as Spaghetti with meatballs, or Lasagna, and don’t forget the red wine!!!
I love the sides! Stuffing/dressing, some kind of squash, potatoes, and sticky toffee pudding. Yum.
I can’t believe a so beautifil gift. for christmas, we like to have fish, “foie gras” in france. For dessert, we refer ice cream.
We usually have ham but my Thanksgiving turkey was so good I think we may have it again!
I have just realised that since a few days there is a mistake in my email address. So I republish my comment with the good email adress. Don’t be afraid, I’m not trying to violate the rules.
“I can’t believe a so beautifil gift. for christmas, we like to have fish, “foie gras” in france. For dessert, we prefer ice cream.”
Favorite family tradition: Taking my daughter and her cousin to the mall in their pj’s to sit in Santa’s lap. My sister and I have done this every year, since the girls were born in 1999.

Our family gathers on Christmas Eve every year. We have lasagna, salad and bread, along with lots of homemade cookies. By the way, I love Pink Paislee.

We have ham, cornflake potatoes, whipped cream salad, homemade and peppermint ice cream with hot fudge on the top. Yum!
On Christmas Eve we would have a seafood feast…if it came from the sea we would have it…Oh, I can taste it just thinking about it!
Our Christmas meal is always ham and cheesy potatoes. I make a different dessert every year, but everyone fills up on cookies and candy, so the dessert never gets eaten!!
oooh loving all the goodies!!! we usually do the normal turkey\ham combo but this year my dad and I are starting a new tradition since both our families are missing members, we are going to do a prime rib, YUM i cannot wait

Well if my family and I were back at home. Our dinner on Christmas Eve is a true home style mexican food. The on Christmas day we have the traditional Christmas dinner. We do both turkey and ham on Christmas Day.
Living by the beach, we love to do a seafood feast. Yum!!
We usually eat turkey, along with our favorite foods. There’s just nothing quite like the smell of a turkey cooking! What amazing goodies you have here!
Our family does a brunch with egg sausage casserole, treasure coffee ring, ham and swiss quiche, baked ham, waffles, juices, coffee, etc. It is so special to sit with the family and eat it year after year. Thank you so much for allowing us all an opportunity to win these fabulous prizes!
It’s not Christmas Day without turkey and all the trimmings!
Turkey and dressing, squash casserole, homemade rolls, sweet potato souffle, and many different desserts!
Last year I made a traditional italian lasagne (everything from scratch) and it was the best christmas feast ever!
I’m a turkey gal with all the fixings! We don’t have it very often during the year so it’s a real treat at Christmas :0)
Someone(s) are going to be very lucky.
I always remember as a family we had ham when I was younger. Can I just say, I never appreciated ham as a child. I wanted to be a vegetarian! Now a days, we have ham or turkey. I can appreciate both as an adult and like to mix it up for Christmas to keep all five of my children- even the vegetarian wannabe’s- happy.
We do not eat meat on Christmas Eve. We have seafood and fish, potato perogies, borsht, buckwheat cabbage rolls, and this traditional stuff call Koocha. It is water, honey and poppyseed. We eat it cold but not to cold as the honey will solidify. Me and my mom take turns having Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and this year is her turn. For Christmas Day we have the typical Ukrainun Dinner. Perogies, three kinds, sweet and sour meatballs, meatballs with gravy, beets with horseradish, cabbage rolls (rice and buckwheat) ones, turkey, stuffing, ham and all kinds of desserts. I probably left out a few things lol. Day nine of pink Paislee looks real Yummy. I could make that a tradition.

We always have ham and a “breakfast buffet” set up from about 8am on for everyone to have a bite to eat as they stop by…
We have all kinds of everything…turkey, ham, chicken, but my favorite is the mashed potatoes.:)
Our family has a very non traditional meal… I guess it is just really a day of hors devours, we have homemade everything, crab dip (we are from Maryland and love the crab), sausage & meatballs, BBQ shrimp in bacon and loads of other foods. We really only do the turkey and fixings on Thanksgiving. Thanks for the great prizes!!
On Christmas day, for the past few years, I’ve made a bacon-wrapped chicken and stuffing dish with traditional sides, like corn and sweet potatoes. My son doesn’t like turkey but likes bacon, and my daughter only eats side dishes, so it all works out for us! Anyway, the kids are so excited about opening gifts that we basically skip breakfast and just have brunch!
This giveaway looks awesome!! Thanks for the chance to win.
My favorite is actually cinnamon buns & quiche for brunch!!
We have the traditional Ham and yams, but my favorite is the desserts throughout the day. I work two part time jobs and we do cookie exchanges at both so we have quite the assortment of cookies, brownies, pretzils and bars.
On Christmas eve we usually have something very simple for dinner but on Christmas day we have seafood and lots of it. Living in Australia, it’s summer at Christmas time so we eat loads of fresh prawns (I think you call them shrimp) with fresh lemon and lots of pepper, cold fresh lobsters, oysters kilpatrick and mornay, fresh fish with lemon and lime pepper, blue swimmer crabs, caesar salad, noodle salad and potato salad all home made as well as home made aioli and seafood sauce. We traditionally have Ham, yams, green bean casserole. Whipped cream over mixed fruit.

Yet, I really like your Mexican Feast Idea, that sounds so much tastier to me right at this moment.
However, I’m fickle so by the time Christmas Day is here, Ham may sound tastier.

Our family tradition is to make Lefsa, Woodchuck and 2 4 6 salad.
Woodchuck is tomato sauce, green olives and cheese. It’s served on crackers and sprinkled with olive bits. I wouldn’t even try it as a child. I made the entire house stink and it looks like vomit…. can you blame a child for not wanting to eat something like that!? Now as an adult, it still stinks up the house, but it is yum!!!! I really like sharing these dishes with new friends each year.

On Christmas Day at my in-laws we have always changed it up. Love that! My dad spent a couple of years in Korea, and his b-day is very near Christmas, so our “traditional” christmas meal is actually a traditional Korean meal of Bul-kogi and kimchi and lots of ther korean goods:)

My family always has a Chrismas ham. They love ham and look for any excuse to have me make it, so Christmas of course became an occasion for it too. We also always have a ton of cookies. They like to keep me baking. But definitely their favorite treat would have to be the homemade chocolate candies and suckers I make. I started doing them as an Easter treat, but they were soon requested for Christmas also.
We make turkey and all the fixins, but now I have to include Tofurkey (or my version of it) for my vegetarian son! It turned out pretty good at Thxgiving!
