Happy Wednesday all! Stacey here with an installment of Word It Wednesday! I adore words, phrases and quotes and feel like these can often be the springboard for creativity and reflective thought! The second I saw the “Bloom Where You’re Planted” quote on the Queen Bee Punch-outs, I was inspired. This is actually a saying that is quite popular in my husband’s family. It has been passed down through the generations and I wanted to keep it going by creating a special page for my two children.
The idea of “blooming” got me thinking and I had visions of a beautiful flower box! Imagine the wrought iron bottom, the sturdy box and then lots of flowers and vines trailing over the edge. I decided to replicate that image on my layout using the gorgeous Queen Bee collection!
I placed my photos near the top of the page and did lots of fussy cutting of the Honey Bee paper to create my flower garden.
I used the Bee Hive shaped paper to create my wrought iron scrolls under my imaginary flower box! I finished off the layout with a cut-up Flip Note , beautiful Bella brad and the Expressions Weathered Wood alphabet and my flower box was complete!
Finally, I included short, but meaningful journaling: This is an old family phrase, meant to remind us to stay grounded and to bloom in the unconditional love that surrounds us!
The new Pink Paislee products will be available before you know it…what will you be inspired to create?! I can’t wait to see!
