One of the trends that has been a regular sight in scrapbook layouts is the use of glimmer mist. I use them a lot myself and I love how it adds a nice touch to my projects.
For today, I’ll be showing you how I used the glimmer mist on my page together with a mix of Bayberry Cottage, Queen Bee and 365 Degrees.
I first placed Cottage Bayberry Punchouts negative on the reverse side of Bees Wax paper from Queen Bee collection as a mask.
Then I sprayed across and around the negative punchouts mask with a dark colored mist. Make sure you spray enough mist to create a nice contrast against the paper.
Next, I outlined the misted shapes with a black pen. This will make the background pop up.
I completed the page using a strip of Porch Swing die cut paper, a couple Punchouts from Bayberry Cottage and 365 Degrees, Flip Notes, Ribbon Pleats, Cork Buttons and Bella Brads from Bayberry Cottage. I also did a little stamping using Expression Clear Stamp from Bayberry Cottage as well and finished the page off with Expressions Weathered Wood Scarlet chipboard alphas.
Here’s my completed layout. I just love how the glimmer mist worked so well against the background!
I think I’m going to play more with the glimmer mist with all the new products!
Have a great weekend!
