It’s my first time doing a “Take Five Friday”-post, and I have to admit – I thought that it would be difficult picking five products, as I thought I was a “less is more”-scrapper.
Well, I ended up having to cheat (*gasp*) just a tiiiny little bit in order to add all the things I wanted to use for my layout….
I’m very pleased with how this layout turned out. I started w/doing what I feel’s a “repeating” design in my works (clustered photos, clustered embellishments), and thought – “no- I so need to shake this up” – and ended up with this design.
My five Pink Paislee-products:
- Papers – Starlight
- Stamps – 365 Degrees – Impressions Clear Stamps
- Cork Button -Bayberry Cottage
- Pleated Ribbon – Bayberry Cottage
That’s four…..and then I bundled all the stickybackitems together, as in:
- Stickers – Element Stickers from Starlight, Expressions Weathered Wood alphabet, Artistan Tape – Licorice, Artistan Elements – Frames
Other products used includes chipboard and metallic red mist from Maya Road, Gold glimmer mist from Tattered Angels and gems from KaiserCraft.
These cool flowers is a wonderful way to get rid of long pieces of scraps
Create these next time you have a long strip of paper, and save them for a card or layout
Love this tape adding extra dimension to the layout
The layout is about our (recent) National Day (May 17th) by the way
Hope you don’t mind me cheating w/the product#! =)
Have a lovely weekend
