Take Five Friday

Happy Friday everyone!  One of the many reasons I love Pink Paislee products is the range of choices you have within the collections.  The complete product lines are all you need to make beautiful projects.  Today, I will show you how to incorporate five different supplies on a layout and do it in an unexpected way!

My five supplies are paper from the Queen Bee collection (which includes patterned paper, Flip Notes, and Punch Out Die Cuts…I know, I am cheating a bit), Cork Buttons, Expression Glitter Alphabets, a Queen Bee stamp and Artisan Elements Swirls.

I chose to use the sophisticated Queen Bee line in a fun and whimsical way. First, I paired it with summer photos because of how the bright blue of the water and the chipboard pop off the paper.

When looking at the cork button, I immediately thought of a sun.  I cut small triangles as rays and added extra detail by stamping each one using just the tip of the Queen Bee stamp.  With just a little trimming, the dimensional Artisan Swirls became my clouds!

Five Pink Paislee products, one layout, hours of fun creating!  Hope you have a happy weekend full of scrapping!

New Artisan Elements & Alphas

You know we just can’t develop a new product release without developing some coordinating alphabets right?  You guys know me right?????  This season I decided I wanted some of my own foam letter stickers so let me formally introduce you to…….Cushies.  They are soft, they are cuddly and they are perfect for late night chats.  They don’t even talk back.

We are introducing these cushies in 4 colors.  Each pack includes 2 sheets (front and back) so you get lots of extra letters on the backside!   We love these and of course we hope you do too!

Next up we have to show you our new Artisan Elements.  WOW!  These have been HOT HOT sellers for us so we decided to develop 3 new styles.  If you haven’t gotten a hold of one of these yet…what in the world are you waiting for.  They are soft, pliable, self adhesive and they can be altered with just about any medium out there…including crayons if you want to get so crazy.

My new favorite thing to alter them with is the Chalkboard Mist from Tattered Angels (dries fast and leaves a gorgeous color hue…) or I also love getting out my acrylic metallic paints for extra shimmer.

If you haven’t already heard the news or read the press release then we are happy to share this very special collection with you today.  Pink Paislee and the talented team over at the House Of Three have joined forces to bring you a Parisian inspired collection; they designed it and we manufactured it.  It is elegant, eclectic and dare we say it….stunning!  Distributed exclusively by Pink Paislee, these products will hit stores in September!  Be sure to let your local retail store know all about it.

We are thrilled to be introducing this collection to our fans and of course to the House of 3 fans. I cannot tell you how much we have enjoyed working with Janet, Heidi & Rhonna to develop this fabulous range of products!  So..without further ado…let me provide you with some sneak peeks:

Now Lets Take A Closer Look

Although they are gorgeous the way they are…they were meant to be altered!  Decorate these papers by adding your favorite colors of distressing inks, alcohol inks, acrylic paints, and misting sprays.  Layer the colors for even more dimension.  The special resist overlay patterns will act as a mask for your favorite mediums.

An example of a layout Janet designed using her favorite distressing inks.

An example of a layout Heidi designed using her favorite Glimmer Mist sprays.  The teal photo mat really pops after color has been added!

These new printed corrugated shapes and alphabets are amazing!  They are perfect as is or you can peel off the the corners and ink, paint or mist the edges to alter them up! (Tomorrow I will update this post with some actual photos as our samples JUST arrived and we didn’t get them photographed in time for this blog post!)

There are actually a few more items that we still need to show you but we don’t have physical samples yet to photograph.  Look for our Brooch Cluster Brads to make a sparkling appearance very soon!
