Lets Get Dimensional {Designer Details}

Well it is wonderful to be creating and posting another Blog Post for you all today!  Lets just say I love creating anything with plenty of detail and it was made so very easy with the delightful “Hometown Summer Collection”. I decided it would be fun to make a cute gift set so I have created a  “Money/Voucher Gift Card” and a cute “Name Plate” that I hope will inspire, so here it is.

I used plenty of detail on both of these items, and lots of dimension, which I would love to share, starting with the Money/Voucher Gift Card.

The card size is 4.5 x 11 inches and fold in half, I then layered different pattern papers from the “Hometown Summer Collection”. Next I cut out some fun and very cute houses from  “Hometown Summer Sunnyside Lane pattern paper, I made sure that I cut out  3 House patterns which looked the same.

Then I used one of the houses as the bottom and using some Foam Mounting Tape I cut out the 2nd house a little  more intricate and placed it ontop of the first house, and then with the 3rd house I just cut the roof out and also using some foam mounting tape placed it ontop of the 2nd  house, as you can see by the bottom photo I also added some Dimensional Glaze to the house for added detail.

Next I added some fun details with some characters from the “Home Town Summer Fun” pattern paper which I also cut out and layered with foam tape, you can also see the detail in the houses.

I also added a yummy “Home Town Summer Border” and for some added detail on the border I used some “Home Town Summer Chipboard Pops” pieces .

The next step is creating the pocket for the Money or Voucher depending on what gift you would like to give.

I used the “Hometown Summer Neighbourhood Pool” pattern paper for the pocket,  I also created a paper clip with the “Hometown Summer Baubles” to hold the money/voucher in place and  I aded the “Hometown Summer Borders and Chipboard Pops for the inside of the card and I used the “Hometown Summer Impression Clear Stamps” for the sentiment and for who the card is for, they also made cute embellishments.

I also decided to make a fun Gift “S Name Plate”, I took the ideas from the card and used them in this gift, but instead of creating 3 dimensional house from the pattern paper, I used the gorgeous chipboard pops and baubles created a fun Pin Wheel as my embellishments.

Pink Paislee has made it so easy to embellish it doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or advanced and want to make your own embellishments from the papers Pink Paislee has given you so many options, so get creating and just have fun.
