Hot Hues Color Challenge!

Hi Pink Paislee friends! Karola here with another Hot Hues palette!

Thus, today we will play with colors! Our May color palette is – as usual – very inspiring, and picture inspire us in retro style. Maybe you’ll find some old pictures, for example: from your childhood? I chose a picture of my little Rose, but I edited it in Photoshop to added a retro look to my photo.

So when we have the photos – let’s see at this beautiful palette full of warm colors:

Hot Hues Color Challenge:

This is a new color challenge once a month right here on our blog.  We want you to create a project using this Hot Hue image as your inspiration then we want you to upload it in the Live Pink gallery.  Be sure to link your project back up to this blog post so we can see your challenge projects!   If we have more than 10 participants we will give away a prize so start playing!
You can use whatever products you want as long as you have atleast 1 (one) Pink Paislee product on your creation somewhere!

And here is mine entry to this colorfull challenge, I’ve made a Lo and mainly used  Hometown Summer collection products:

To create an interesting shape of this Lo I used my Cricut Expressions machine, plus I cut out a few butterflies and a big red doilie. Most colors from Hometown Summer collection fits perfectly into our May color palette, but I used here also (for the contrast)  Butterfly Garden – Ephemera die cuts -  butterfly and hot air balloon.  This is Lo about my daughter, who really can’t wait for the summer time.

I did also  small handmade flowers made of Hometown Summer – Summer Fun paper – these flowers added a beautiful dimension!
