You need to visit their blog to see all these amazing projects.  I grabbed a few images to show off here on our blog but there are so MANY MORE to see.  And these girls also show step by step photos of how to create these amazing projects.  So much to learn from including creating your own folded origami box!

We were also lucky enough to use the Glue Glider Pro (hi tac) adhesive during the CHA Show and we just loved it!  Super strong and that glider pro is so easy to use and fits in the palm of my hand perfectly; I love it!

We owe the creative team at Glue Arts a HUGE THANK YOU for working with our fabulous products. You can thank them too! Head over to the Glue Arts Facebook page and tell them that Pink Paislee sent you!  They are trying to get to 6000 fans before the weekend is up and we want to help right???

If they make it to 6000 fans I will even throw in a HUGE Prize Basket filled with Hometown Summer and Soiree for one lucky fan of the Glue Arts Facebook Page!  So go Like their page NOW and when they hit 6000 we will give away a BIG prize for one lucky facebook visitor!

Thanks all!

Well Hello Core’dinations Cardstock Loveliness

We are so super excited about this lovely pack of Core Impressions Embossed Cardstock!  Our very own Pink Paislee pack is now available through Core’dinations.  We took some of the fabulous prints from our Nantucket collection and converted them into embossed and sandable cardstock patterns.  Appropriately named the Modern Prints Collection we are just in love with these colors and the endless creative possibilities! The paper pack includes 4 patterns in all 5 colors…and if you look closely you will see that we added a special honeycomb pattern to match our new hexagon chipboard shapes below!  These chipboard shapes will fit within the embossed area just perfectly!

In the coming weeks we will be showing off these cardstock papers in greater detail but we wanted to make sure you knew this fabulous pack was going to be available this AUGUST at your favorite retailer!

2011 CHA Summer Show {Let’s Recap}

The team is back from the Craft & Hobby Show in Chicago, IL. and all we can say is….WOW!  The show was definitely busier than we anticipated!  When you are on the manufacturing side of this industry you never really know what kind of crowds to expect (as far as I know CHA doesn’t provide the number of attendees or registered buyers in advance of the show) so the amount of traffic we are going to see on the show floor is always a little bit of a mystery.  When we talk to customers on the phone leading up to the show we always ask if they are attending the show and most of the time their answer is “no.”  But one of the things we didn’t count on was a lot of NEW store owners / or NEW CHA members who were walking the show and I for one think it is great to see new members joining the show activities this summer.

We actually downsized our booth to a 10 x 20 space for this show and to be honest we did that because we were trying to cut down on trade shows costs for a show that is typically smaller than the Winter Show in terms of attendees.  We probably won’t do that again but we did manage to make it work for us this time around.  I am not going to lie….it was extremely difficult to fit everything into this space; and it was crammed in here so we have learned our lesson!  (just fyi…we haven’t had a booth this size since 2008!)

Because we are so busy during the show we only get to take pictures in the early morning before the show starts.  So this year we don’t have any photos of the booth filled with visitors but we can show you the booth before the doors opened!  If you came by to see us we do hope you enjoyed seeing our new collections up close.  We had a blast chatting with everyone and showing everyone how easy it is to use our new Mistables collection along with our new Wood Shop alphabets during our make n takes and demos!

Thanks again for being so enthusiastic about our new summer collections!  Look for the Mistables products to hit stores now and the other collection to hit stores in August 2011.
