Hi Everyone! For today’s Winter Wonderland project, I wanted to share my version of some treat bag toppers that I’ve created using the Snow Day collection. Not only do I love the sweet winter colors in this collection, but also all the fun embellishments – check out the new wood shapes and those die cuts from the ephemera pack are must have (highly recommend to double up)!
To create these bag toppers, I first started with a doily as my base and then with one of the patterned papers, I created a small banner strip that I adhered across the top. Next came all the yummy ephemera pieces, dimensional stickers and/or wood shapes, which I layered and adhere on top of one another. For this particular one below, I’m just loving the dimensional mitten stickers and if you take a closer look you’ll also see a hit of silver there for some added shine:
And for this particular one, I focused on the gorgeous wooden snowflakes and then all the matching ones too from the ephemera pack.
And lastly, for this one the focus is one that super cute “snow day” die cut and the all the fun hearts that you’ll get from the various embellishments.

I bake gingerbread men and spritz christmas tree cookies every year. It’s a tradition! I like to give them not only to friends, but to people I feel who have been most kind during the year… a cashier who may have been having a tough day but smiled and was helpful nevertheless. The staff at my doctor’s office who are efficient, responsive and kind.. always and so many more.

If I were going to give away baked treats I would probably bake homemade sugar cookies and give them to family, friends, and my husband’s coworkers to nibble on. Besides being yummy, the kids and I have a blast making all the Christmas shapes, dying the dough colors, and frosting them with all kinds of sprinkles on top.

I like to make peanut butter cornflake balls, they’re soooo delish. Everyone gobbles them up faster than I can make them. They’re cheap, and I can make large batches of them, so I give them away to everyone. It’s always nice to get inspired to package them up really pretty.
