Technique Week {shaped cards with stitching}

Ready to continue our technique week today? Combining your favorite Pink Paislee products and large die cuts to create shaped cards.  In addition to this technique, adding a little hand-stitched detail using a simple needle and thread.  So let’s begin.

1.  Die cut two layers of paper using large heart scallop circle.  Die cut cardstock, using large circle die, to create the folded card portion of this card.2.  Adhere layers together. 3.  Die cut large circle from paper.  Pierce holes along edge of circle. (Used Glue Arts 8″x10″ UCut-It Foam as cushion.)

4.  Stitch along edge, where punctured, until complete.5.  Back stitched paper with adhesive or foam and adhere to card front.

6.  Embellish as desired.Use a variety of paper, dies and embellishments to make the perfect card set for someone special.  Quick and easy, but looks like you crafted for hours.
