Mother’s Day Inspiration {Make Tissue Flowers}

Hi there, this is Felicitas with another tutorial post. We are close to Mother’s Day, and I want to show you how to make tissue paper flowers for your Mother’s Day project.

Supplies:
She Art – Paper Dolls Collage Tissue
also: acrylics or color sprays, scissors and some toothpicks

Step 1: Color your tissue paper in two matching colors.

Step 2: Fold the paper until you have a 1.5 inches square. Then cut a leaf shape out of the paper.

Step 3: Fold the second colored paper in half and cut it as shown on the photo. Then glue it on the toothpick.

Step 4:  Start gluing the leaves around the blossom. The more leaves you glue on it, the bigger your flower will be.

Step 5: With the same technique, glue some green leaves on the toothpick. That’s it.

I used this flower on the mixed media canvas I created for my mother, but it would also look great on the front of a handmade card!

Thanks for visiting the Pink Paislee blog today, and don’t forget to get started on your Mother’s Day projects.

Stay creative, xo Felicitas
