It’s no *secret* that my oldest daughter LOVES her puppies!
I decided to use and document this special relationship in my interpretation of this week’s sketch.
There are so many elements of the Secret Crush collection that I love!
I chose to focus on using and combining the photo frames & photogram frames to build my layout for the sketch. You can easily convert the idea of a 4×6″ space for a photo in the sketch into 2 smaller photos with frames. The key for me in any layout is to LAYER it up!! Layering creates my “base” for the layout.
This sketch is perfect for layering as many elements or papers that you like from the Secret Crush collection! I started with layering various papers from the 6×6 paper pad to achieve my look. I added the different Photo Frames to my photos, then embellished the layout with elements from the Paper Goods pack.
The pinks, the greys, and subtle reds all work together beautifully to achieve a fun and beautiful layout! Here is a closer look…
To add some extra fun and glitz, I inked up my page using Heidi Swapp’s ColorShine in Primrose. I also used this on the Artisan Resist-Able chipboard hearts to bring out the design–it can be as prominent or as subtle as you choose. This color and ink is a PERFECT companion for the Secret Crush collection!! It has become my favorite “go-to” misting ink! I have a major CRUSH!!
