Hello Pink Paislee fans! I suppose you are as crazy about our February Color Crush palette as I am! Oh, such gorgeous pastels and very inspiring photos have huge potential! Today I would love to share with you my newest page created with Color Crush’s amazingly sweet and soft colors!
I wanted to try keep an eye on all the specific tones in our palette. I have been totally in love in pastels from a very long time – it was a huge pleasure for me. I’ve started with Cottage Farms – Crate patterned paper as a background, but I decided to decorate it a little bit using fantastic She Art – Vintage Lace mask and green distress ink pad. I made doily lace background which is shaded – on the picture below you can see direction how I masked the paper.
I chose one of the older photos of my daughter Rose, when she was 2 years old, and it was perfect photo for very sweet and soft arrangement. To match elements to the palette colors, I used Artisan paper and 2 colors of Color Shine mists. After coloring the paper, I made a few strips and decorated it using small circle punch. Just one of the easiest ways for quick but interesting effect, no matter which style you represent. Paper strips are always good to create small decorations.
I put the two strips on the edges of my page, on top and bottom. Then I started creating a photo arrangement – used several dies to create filigree elements from the Cottage Farms and Spring Jubilee papers. I found a few stunning elements in Cottage Farms – Paper Goods pack – love the butterflies! I also used the Artisan elements to decorate, but first I colored them using Color Shine – Amethyst ink – one of the colours in our February Color Crush palette is very pale lilac, and I was hoping to match it correctly on my page. It seems that it turned out very nice.
Here are some close-ups of my layout:

Is this a new kit for March? I think I joined but I am still not sure of the cost of each kit. That would be very important for me to find out. Can you help me?

Chris…we don’t sell monthly kits. I think maybe you are thinking of another site?
