We are so happy to feature our very first 2013 Guest Artist here on the blog! We recently took some time off from this blog feature but I am happy to report that it will once again be a regular monthly occurrence; there are just too many awesome artists and friends in this industry that we want to highlight on a regular basis. This month we will show you just how amazing Keisha is and how much we adore her clean lines and use of die cut vellum here and there. We sent Keisha our Luxe Collection along with some Cottage Farms and after working with our “GO GLAM” products Keisha wrote to us saying “OMG…I LOVED the metallic papers. I don’t want to use anything else right now!” We totally agree Keisha. A little LUXE can make any project a little more shimmery special.
Words From Keisha…
I have been married for 17 years to my childhood sweetheart. We have two sweet girls Amira & Mikeila (who hate to take photos) and one silly dog Lulu. After moving around as a military family for many years, we have happily settled down in Virginia.
I began scrapbooking in 2003 not long after the birth of my second daughter. It took me a few months after I started scrapping to discover that there was an online scrapbooking world. Seeing so many different ideas on how to scrapbook online helped me find my style, and within one year I was on my first design team. I have been very lucky to be apart many amazing design teams and I have worked for some of the best companies.
Keisha’s Designs For Pink Paislee
The Mini Album
One thing I absolutely love about Keisha’s projects is that she used embossing folders and die cut shapes to enhance our LUXE metallic papers and accents. These papers look even more amazing with dimension (embossing) applied to them. That is one technique I need to try for myself! To learn more about Keisha be sure to visit her blog and say hello. Thank you Keisha for sharing all of these amazing projects with us and for showing us a new way to use metallics prints on cards, tags and mini albums. I am a fan!
