Hello! Diana Fisher here with you today to share the mini album I made documenting a trip I took earlier this month to visit my family. On the first day we were in Ohio, we went to the Cleveland Zoo. This book puts those moments together in one place.
That’s my favorite part about a mini album, that you can remember an event or moment in one keepsake rather than making many layouts or a two-page spread with smaller pictures.
To hold my mini together, I used just two single holes and tied it together with single piece of ribbon. The base pages are 8×8 Artisan papers cut in half making the finished project a 4×8 album. The pages could have been stained or misted, but I really liked the white-on-white pattern for this mini.
I have always loved the Portfolio collection, so I was excited to use the Photograms in my album. Many of them are popped off the page with foam adhesive dots giving the album extra depth.
I also used pieces from the Portfolio 6×6 paper pad for background papers and layered them behind the photos. Hope Chest and Portfolio label stickers worked great for adding sentiment to each page.
I also used Luxe gold rub-ons for added pattern and shimmer to the pages of my mini.
Below is a better look at the tabs used on each page. These are also from the Portfolio collection and worked to easily section off each page so that the book can be flipped through. Plus, I love the extra dimension it adds to the pages.
So there you have it: my trip to the Cleveland Zoo with my family! Thanks for stopping by!
