One of my favorite things about paper crafting is combining the old with the new. For my “Snow Village” project I had a vision of a paper mâché snowman created from a vintage tin mold and a purchased paper mâché ornament; so I set off to make it a reality!
I chose to dress him in a cone-shaped hat, but certainly you could employ any type of hat to keep him nice and warm. I have Chilly Mac nestled on a shelf amongst some of my other snowmen collectibles…he’s made himself right at home!
It is easy to add some sparkle to “Chilly” using some mod podge and glitter! The mod podge acts a seal to hold the strips in place and also to hold the keep the glitter from flaking off.
