Make It Mini: Summer Style

I love mini things; the smaller they are – the cuter they are! That is why I adore mini albums and today I am going to share a mini album that I made as a gift for a special little girl.  I created this project using the new Hello Sunshine Collection that is shipping to stores right now!  We recently took a vacation and brought the daughter of a family friend along with us and I wanted to give her some photos to remember the vacation by, what better way to do that than with this adorable mini album!

I used 4×4 acrylic squares for the front and back cover and decorated them up with double sided paper so the fun patters would work on both sides!

For the actual pages I used 4×4 coasters because they were the perfect size and easy to embellish.

I also put a few scalloped clear pages in for a touch of  fun!  I love these fish I cut from my cameo with the kids names on them, they swam so much on vacation I thought they were part fish!

I find when putting together a mini album its nice to have your photos all about the same size. I printed all of mine at 2×3 and they fit perfectly, they are the focus of the page but I have plenty of room for embellishments.

I choose to use 2 rings to keep my mini album together becuase I know know this is going to be looked at over and over and the rings make it sturdy and easy to flip through.

I had to end the album with something fun!  I cut a whale from my cameo and used the rain drop puffy stickers as spray! Maybe you have someone special that would love a mini album to remember special occasion, they make great gifts!
