Pinfluence: Birthday Interview

Pinterest is great for finding all sorts of inspiration for your projects.  Beyond emulating a scrapping style or page layout I often find myself getting journaling ideas, color combos, and title ideas.  Today I’m showing you a project that was several years in the making for me… the first of many annual birthday interviews with my son!

I made use of yet another awesome Pinterest find: the printable.  Bloggers are all over the place creating fun forms and signs like these that can really enhance your pages.  I found this one pinned from Lansdowne Life and it can be saved and edited each year.  She has two versions in different colors, which also helped influence my paper choices.

I chose the more masculine version and printed it out on standard 8.5″ x 11″ printer paper.  I created a coordinating layout for the left side at the same size and plan on slipping them into standard office page protectors in a binder each year.  So simple and yet so sweet and fun to look back on all the favorites.

The printable came colored in teal, black, and gray so Hello Sunshine was the perfect choice to go with it.  I just love the happiness that this collection exudes.  It matches my little guy’s personality perfectly.

I love how this came out.  The details, both in the interview and the embellishments, just make me smile.

I hope I’ve shown you that you can be “Pinfluenced” by printables as well as the projects themselves! There are a plethora of great downloads out there!
