InstaPhotos: Hey Doll!

I love the vintage and colorful effects that you can create with Instagram. Depending on the applied filter, you can choose different color harmonies. For today’s layout I decided that the red light on my girl’s head looked perfect with the pink and orange tones of the Switchboard collection.

To print my Instagram photos, I insert them in a Word document, it allows me to resize them easily by simply sliding the cursor.

I chose the pink and white patterned paper from the Switchboard collection and cut it at 10×11″ – then I created a horizontal layout aligning my photo – glued onto a chipboard frame from the chip sticker set and placing it to the left of (2) 3×4 journal cards. The sentiments on these pocket cards worked perfectly for this photo of my daughter!  I love how easily 3×4 cards can add character to a page!

I placed my chipboard title and I fixed everything by a line of stitching. Then I glued the embellishments and embossed a heart clear stamp with some golden powder.

To finish, I sewed the background paper onto a sheet of 12×12 white cardstock.

 Collection used : switchboard.
