Hi everyone… Jess here today to tell you about one of my favorite photo editing apps and show you how I use it to enhance my photos for scrapbooking.
I LOVE the free app Photo Grid (Android and iPhone) for its collage making abilities! This app offers all sorts of editing functions like traditional cropping, filters, light and color adjustments, stickers, and text. But the true fun of this app is the collage making. You can create free form collage (like throwing your photos on a desk), square collages (like mine today), filmstrips, and even videos. You can apply filters and edit each photo individually within the collage and it’s all very intuitive and simple. Even better, sharing with Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, email and others is available in-app. You can select the size you save your photos, which enables you to print at a decent size.
I used Photo Grid to make this collage of my son:
The collage gives it the look of a multi photo layout without the hassle of multiple prints, sizes, and organization. It makes it so simple to design as though it is a one photo layout!
I also added details with machine stitching, chipboard and ephemera popped up with foam tape, and a series of label stickers for my journaling.
