This little summer story is about these two guys. My youngest and his daddy. We were at the water and the little guy was all gung-ho about the water and the sand and then something just sort of snapped. All of a sudden he was just not sure of that big body of water.
So then his daddy came up behind him…and became a bit of an anchor to this little guy and his fears. This little story is one of my favorites of the summer as I just stood by and watched all of this transpire, camera in hand of course. And then to pull this page together and come upon the anchor piece from the Ephemera. Perfect! It was the perfect element for this page. So I wrapped some twine around the top and stapled it to the page.
And of course added the story right on the page. Because to me this will always be one of my favorite stories of this little boys life as he grows to not fear things like water. And I will be forever happy I captured it here, this summer.
So what about you…are you capturing those favorite little stories of your summer. It’s our little way to capture the blur. Hope you are capturing yours.
