This is my first time doing a Christmas Countdown, and I am excited to start with my Document December Journal. No you will not see any winter photos of me and my family since I’m living here in tropical country – Indonesia. I do really enjoy creating spreads about my daily life in the red and green color combo. I chose one to three photos that represent (the highlight) of my day. I will also do some journaling to give some details about my day.
I kept consistent with my format. I printed out the photo of the lego tree into a 6×8 inch and did some layering with some pattern papers from the collection. I also used the ‘holly jolly’ clear ephemera to decorate the photo.
The positive thing of using the December Countdown Notebook as your media, is having mini layouts in every single day. This time I use grid design for my right side. I use same photos about lego activity, two photos in square format and the last one in landscape format. The rest I decorated using pretty embellishments from the collection.
I used those pretty red numbers to highlight day 10.
I ran our of space on my page due to my grid design, I decided to journal underneath the photo.
I love the Christmas Countdown project and hope all of you enjoy making your own! Make it fun and memorable.
