Paige Kits: Adding Watercolors

Cards with Thickers #ppfancyfree | @gina_lideros for @pinkpaislee

Hi Pink Paislee friends! It’s Gina Lideros and I’m excited to share with you how I am using the Paige Kits! The Paige Kits in the Fancy Free collection are a great way to create a fun layout in little time.

I loved the die cut paper in the Geometric Paige Kit. I decided that I wanted to brighten up my page and add to it by placing watercolors behind the die cut paper.  To do this, I painted watercolors onto watercolor paper and set aside to dry.

Once dry, I cut the watercolors into small pieces and placed them behind the die cut paper. I specifically chose colors that would coordinate with the Fancy Free collection.

Once the watercolor pieces were in place, I swapped out the background paper that came with the kit and used a brightly colored paper (#12) from the collection instead. I love that this paper adds to the watercolor effect.

Next, I added my photo, some embellishments from the Geometric Paige Kit, and I combined them with other embellishments from the collection.

I hope that you have enjoyed my take on the Paige kit today and that I have inspired you to create with your own!
