Hello Pink Paislee peeps and welcome to Circles Week! For this layout, I found a paper punch a couple weeks ago that has eight different-sized circles in one single punch which made this page come together in a jiffy!
I pulled out the Fancy Free collection and started punching away – I used a mix of 12×12 papers as well as 6×6 papers and punched whichever papers struck my “fancy”! I played with different background papers such as black cardstock, dark gray cardstock, and a few different teal patterned papers, and in the end I went with yellow cardstock – it felt the most happy and helped the colors pop. I pretty much sprinkled the circles on top and wherever they landed I glued them down – pushing them ever-so-slightly so the edges weren’t touching. To add some texture I stitched through each of the largest circles.
Once the circles were all glued and stitched down I flicked black and white paint across to create some interest and reiterate the circles theme. Next I layered my photo over a few elements and then embellished with more fun things from Fancy Free!
Circles are such a fun and versatile shape that can be used with virtually any subject – and the more circles you can add, the merrier! I hope you are inspired to create a circles background on your next page!
