Hello everyone, it’s Zinia again and this week I want to share with you a few lovely Valentine’s cards using the Paige Evans “Oh My Heart” collection.
Usually when you are thinking about Valentine’s Day cards, the first thing that pops in your head is red and pink. Although I really love those colors, I decided to give my Valentine’s cards a colorful twist.
For the first card, I chose a beautiful pattern paper with colorful hearts and I cut a panel out of it to use as my base. Then I took another piece of the same paper and I fussy cut a couple of hearts from each color.
To assemble the card I used foam dots to adhere the cut out hearts on top of the base paper to add some dimension to the design. For the sentiment I used the fun chipboard alphas and some of the small alpha stickers that are included in the Oh My Heart sticker book.
To create the second card, I used another pretty paper with tiny hearts for my base. On top of it I chose a cut apart piece from the specialty paper that will serve as my sentiment. I placed that piece in the middle of the card and then I embellished around it with some flowers I fussy cut from another paper.
I hope you are inspired to create some colorful Valentine’s cards and show your love to the special people in your life!
