Hello everyone! It’s Zinia here and this week the Pink Paislee team and I are going to focus on the new Spellcast collection. This line is full of traditional Halloween colors and vintage style elements like witches, potions, and pumpkins.
There are so many great products in this collection that I had a hard time deciding where to start! One thing that I instantly fell in love with was the cut apart sheet with these tiny little cards. I really love how they all have different colors and designs but still keep a consistent style.
So I grabbed the cards, scored them at 3/4″ from the bottom, and stuck the bottom part on a strip of paper to create a flip-book column. This design is really fun if you want to scrap multiple photos or little snippets. You can “file” all sorts of little memorabilia inside those slits.
I placed that strip in the middle and decorated around it with all sorts of fun elements. I really love the gold foiled spider webs and the potion vials that come in so many different styles.
I also went ahead and fussy cut a few elements from the patterned papers to use as extra ephemera. All the papers in this collection are absolutely beautiful and many of them are perfect for cutting out simple designs. As a final touch I used a gold spray mist to add a few splatters and give a more magical look to the overall design.
I really hope you got inspired to use the gorgeous Spellcast collection by Pink Paislee and create some fun Halloween projects!
