Hello everyone! It’s Zinia here and today I want to share with you a layout I created using the latest Pink Paislee collection called Wild Child. This collection is actually split into boy and girl themed products but in my humble opinion girls can rock the rockets too!
All these adorable designs really spoke to my heart and reminded me of my childhood. I had the urge to use every single piece on my layout so I decided to create an exploding toy box filled with all the fun elements of this collection.
I started with the beautiful cream and pink striped paper as my background since it was one of my most favorites from the collection and then I cut a treasure chest design from white cardstock using my Silhouette machine.
I backed the empty areas of the cut design with papers from the collection just to give the design a solid ground and then I started filling the box and the area around it with all the adorable elements.
Ephemera, cardstock stickers, puffy stickers, rub-ons, this collection has everything! I was seriously tempted to use whole sticker sheets but I held myself back because I wanted to keep some lovely bits for future projects.
For my title I used a piece from the chipboard Thickers and stuck it on the lid of my box. I tucked an old goofy photo between the toys to make it blend in with the rest of the design.
For some final touches, I added gold splatters around the box. I also used a strip from another lovely paper that comes in this collection to balance the top part of the design.
This is really such a fun and lovely collection to work with. You have elements to fit both boys and girls and it can work for either your children or your own childhood memories.
I hope you enjoyed this page and you got inspired to use the Wild Child collection in fun ways to document your own childhood treasures!
