Hi there Pink Paislee fans! It’s Ashley, and I’m so excited to kick off Wild Child week! This collection is so bright and fun and it’s made for feminine and masculine layouts! This is perfect for me since we have two girls and one boy! I love these types of collections. But there are other fun ways you could use them too. I just had to use the rainbow paper with the clouds for my first layout… it was a no brainer!!
Our middle daughter LOVES stuffed animals. She has them everywhere! I snapped this photo on her last birthday with all of her friends and thought it would work well with the cute embellishments in the Wild Child collection. Since the design of the patterned paper has a rainbow look, I placed the embellishments on each coordinating color.
Mixing the chipboard pieces, ephemera pieces, puffy stickers, and stickers gives a lot of interest to the layout. I also like to add pop dots to some of the pieces to give more dimension to the layout. I really love the look of the chipboard titles layered over their coordinating color on the background paper. I even pulled the Watch Me Go phrase and the Love You to the Moon phrase from the boy products to add at the top and bottom of the layout.
I also brought in a few other rainbow colored embellishments. I placed a rainbow sticker at the top of the layout and an ephemera rainbow under the photo. And I HAD to include one of the cute unicorns, so I adhered the sticker unicorn with pop dots between the Love You to the Moon phrase. I love the balance these pieces added to the layout.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out the Wild Child collection then make sure you join us on the blog for the next two weeks! The Design Team will be bringing lots of inspiration your way!
