All of our U.S. friends celebrate Thanksgiving Day every November. It’s definitely the time of year that puts emphasis on being thankful, but we can be thankful all year long and document those memories with our favorite Pink Paislee collection. The Turn the Page collection has some great patterned papers and embellishments that work perfectly for documenting thankfulness.
When it comes to being thankful, my family is at the top of the list. We recently visited a pumpkin patch and I snapped this cute photo of the kids. I thought this Give Thanks cut file would be just right with the photo. Once I had the cut file on my white background paper, I added some messy machine stitching. I placed the photo at the bottom righthand corner so I could have it near the cluster I wanted to create around the leaves of the cut file.
I used some of the wood pieces, stickers, and ephemera pieces to create a cluster at the top of the cut file. I wanted something to fill in the empty space and balance the larger cluster that I planned to add at the bottom of the layout.
I love the look of the big cluster by the photo! I fussy cut some images from the collection and adhered some with pop dots to add some varying dimension to the layout. I also mixed in one of the wood pieces and two cute chipboard sticker acorns to complete the look of the cluster. Next time you’re working on a Thanksgiving layout, think about things that you are thankful for throughout the year!
