The new Wild Child collection is filled with so many fun and whimsical designs! I love to have scrapbook supplies on hand for birthday parties that the kids go to throughout the year. It’s always fun to whip up a hand-made card and with the Wild Child collection you can create a boy or girl card to complete your birthday gift giving!
Shaped cards are always a hit! If you have an electronic die cut machine, they are super easy to make. I cut a rocket shaped card on my Silhouette Cameo. I welded the two shapes together in my design software so I could fold it in half once it was cut. Then I cut the same shape from one of the Wild Child patterned papers. I completed the look of the card with a mix of ephemera and puffy stickers.
This fun shaped card will definitely be a blast at any little boys birthday party!
For my second card, I created a fun girly look. You can spice up your card design with a punched edge and a wand tucked inside the card. I used a scallop punch along the edge of the card to add a little feminine touch. The chipboard words from the collection are great for adding the perfect sentiment to your card. Then you can complete the look with a few stickers and puffy stickers. I created the cute wand with a popsicle stick and one of the flowers fussy cut from one of the patterned papers in the collection.
This card would be perfect for any little girl or even a tween! And it’s fun to customize the look to fit your needs! Next time you’re in need of a kid card, grab the Wild Child collection and skip the expensive store bought card, for your own custom look!
