I found and instantly fell in love with 15 year old (I kid you not!!) Maryám Pérez’s designs the second I laid eyes on her beautiful creations! I hope you love them too! You can find her on her blog, instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTube!
Tell us a little bit about yourself: Hello! My name is Maryám Pérez. I’m a 15 year old girl who lives in Osorno, Chile with her parents and her little sister. I love photography, scrapbooking, and to design.
How did you get started scrapbooking? Since I was baby my mom always encouraged me to paint or cut things. When I entered school my favorite part was to buy pencils, notebooks, stickers, etc. So I started watching some videos on YouTube about crafting supplies and I found one about scrapbooking. Since then my life has changed. I love this world and love to share my work with people from several countries.
What is your favorite Pink Paislee product? I honestly can’t decide on just one product. I love stickers and papers. I would say Paige Evans’ collections are always my favorite!
5 fun facts about you:
1. My birthday is the first day of the year (January 1st).
2. I designed my first scrapbooking collection at the age of 15.
3. When I’m not crafting I’m taking photos or singing.
4. I love to eat pizza.
5. My little sister is taller than me.
As soon as I saw the Paper 12 I knew I wanted to use all of the little squares in a layout. I put the patterns all over my page, the photo, and all the beautiful embellishments from the Turn the Page collection.
For this layout I decided to work with the Flower Vase cut file from Paige Evans. I punched all of the holes and then I did simple backstitching. At the end, I painted it with my watercolors and added the embellishments.
I love the ribbons from Turn the Page collection, so I used them for this layout. I created a kind of a pattern and then sewed them to the page.
For this card I decided to highlight the stamps! I love them so much that I took a piece of cardstock and I stamped them over and over again just to create a pattern with them.
The size of this mini album is about 3×6 inches. What I did was trim the papers to 6×6 inches and then fold them in a half. I also added some interactive pages to give more interesting to my project.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and getting to know Maryám! Be sure to swing by her social media sites linked at the top to find more of her stunning work!
