Families go through so many moments and special occasions. It’s always great to have handmade cards on hand to celebrate or share those moments. There are birthdays, graduations, weddings, showers, adoptions… the list goes on and on. You can whip up cards with your favorite Pink Paislee collections and have them ready for whenever you might need one.
I used the Turn the Page collection to create two different themed cards. One would be great for an adoption and the second one would work for several different occasions, like going to college, getting married, or moving into a new home.
The cute little houses in the collection inspired my first card. I used three different ones… a puffy sticker, a chipboard sticker and a wood veneer. I love the mix of the different textures on the card. I created a sentiment on the card with two different alpha stickers. Then I finished the design with some cute puffy sticker frames and the cute paper doll embellishments.
One of my favorite papers in the Turn the Page collection is the talk bubble design with various quotes. I love to fussy cut them and it makes the perfect sentiment for a card.
After I cut the quote from the patterned paper, I flipped it over to cover my card base with the other pattern. I added some height to the card by adhering the fussy cut quote above the top edge of the card. Then I used the large wood veneer star and a few stickers to embellish the quote. I filled in the space at the bottom of the card with the Believe in You puffy sticker.
I hope you’ve found some inspiration today for creating easy handmade cards that can be shared throughout the year with your family!
