Hey guys, it’s Lisa on the blog again! Welcome and thank you for stopping by Today I’m sharing these super cute cards I made using the Paige Evans Pick-Me-Up collection.
The theme of this week is fussy cutting, so I thought I’d fussy cut A LOT… I chose a few patterned papers: paper #2, paper #19 , paper #13 and paper #14. I cut out flowers, frames, andmoths. For the square card, I used the paper with the frames, but I used the one in the 12×12 paper pad. This one has gold frames instead of colorful ones. I cut out nine in different sizes and placed them on the card in a grid design. I made the card out of a pink ombre patterned paper. Then I chose some flowers and placed one or two in each frame.
Then I cut out this cute ‘love you’ banner and placed it on top, using very thick foam squares to make it stand out. To finish it, I placed two moths on the card, added some buttons and flowers from the rub-ons, and sprinkled some gold splatters.
To make the rectangular card, I did exactly the same, I just changed the color scheme a bit. Instead of using gold frames, I used the color ones. With an exacto knife, I cut out the inner part and backed them with some dark patterned papers because I wanted to use a white card base this time. When choosing the flowers, I took care to only chose the light ones like pink, beige and white, so that they would stand out in front of the dark back.
For the rest I pretty much did the same. The only thing that I added on this card are a gold frame all around the card and a little phrase sticker.
I really hope you like them and that you are inspired to make some too!
