Hello PP friends! Enza here, and today I’m sharing a new layout for Friendship week. The pictures I used on this page have my heart. I was able to catch a special moment between two of my kids – a few snapshots of them playing together and loving each other. I’m not saying it’s all giggles and laughter, by all means. They fight constantly, but they also have these sweet split seconds of love for each other that tell me they’ll be friends forever (or at least that’s my hope ;)). Here is the layout:
I used the gorgeous Pick-Me-Up collection with its beautiful, vibrant colors. My idea was to build my own background by repeating the same shape design. The Folded Circles (Design ID #248356) cut file designed by Paige Evans worked perfectly for what I had in mind. I really like that you can see both sides of the patterned papers. I cut several circles in different sizes and arranged them in a diagonal on the page. To keep the shapes in place, I added some cross-stitched details right where the folds meet on the circles.
I then backed the photos with patterned papers and placed them on the right side of the page, making sure to use foam adhesive to adhere them down for dimension. I arranged several die cuts and stickers around them. I tucked two tags below the pictures on the right side and I covered the holes with the fun butterfly sequins that come in the collection.
For the title I used two sentiments from the Chipboard Sticker sheet as well as the ampersand from the Letter Chipboard Sticker set. As you can see, the title follows the same diagonal shape of the whole design.
Fussy cut moths scattered on the page finished the layout.
I had fun making this page. I have to be honest, I had a smile on my face the whole time looking at those pictures <3.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a lovely day!
