Hey friends, it’s Lisa on the blog today. This week our theme is “flowers”. I looooove making layouts with flowers, so I was really excited having to make some cards including flowers. Of course, the Pink Paislee collections never lack flower options, so it wasn’t very hard to come up with an idea.
To start these cards, I chose some really cute bunny cut files from the Silhouette store. I cut them out of white paper and patterned paper from the Confetti Wishes collection. Then I stuck them on some white cardstock, stitched around them with matching thread, cut them out, and placed them on two patterned papers from the 6×6 paper pad.
Then I went through all the embellishments from the collection and chose some flowers. Chipboard flowers, fussy-cut flowers, puffy stickers flowers, ephemera flowers… I also wanted some more dimension, so I chose one of Paige Evans’ 3D rolled flowers from the Silhouette shop and cut them out of patterned paper. I rolled them up to form a teeny tiny 3D flower.
For the ‘boy’ card, I placed all the flowers around his neck, like a big Hawaiian necklace. I used a tiny puffy sticker saying ‘Happy Birthday’ and placed it on top of the card. I stuck the whole thing on another piece of patterned paper, creating a little colorful border. To add even more flowers, I took the Paige Evans sticker book and used all the flower stickers from the Oh My Heart collection, sticking them all around the card and cutting off the edges. I finished it by adding some gold and pink foam dots from the Thickers pack.
For the ‘girl’ card, I placed the flowers on her head as a headband. For the title, I used the gold and pink foam Thickers saying ‘Party Animal’ and placed them on the top and bottom of the bunny head. Then I also placed the whole thing on another patterned paper to create a frame and added stickers from the sticker book, this time using the ones from the Turn the Page collection.
I really love how all the collections work so well together and how you can mix and match everything.

I really hope you were inspired to try these. Thank you so much for stopping by!
