Hello everyone! Elodie back with you today with a new project focusing on Thickers. I love using Thickers to create my titles. Here, I went big and made a colorful page using the gorgeous Pick-Me-Up line, pretty Thickers from the Paige Evans collections, and a sweet photo of my girls snapped during our trip around Ireland last year.
For the background, I picked Paper 14 with its blue and green stripes to echo the colors on my photo. After brainstorming for a little bit, I decided to use the patterns of the background paper and place my big title along the stripes.
To add a bit of warmth and fun to my layout, I came up with the idea of scallops to underline the title. I cut circles from several papers in the Pick-Me-Up 6×6 pad, cut them again in half, and placed them along the stripes. I bent up the edges of the half circles before sticking them down for dimension.
I adhered the photo in the center of the page with foam squares, tucked a card from the journaling spot pack under it, and adorned it with pretty chipboard stickers and a flower die cut.
Then I moved on to the title and placed colorful Thickers from the Fancy Free, Take Me Away, Oh My Heart, Turn the Page, and Pick-Me-Up collections along the scallops. I love the fun and bright look they bring to my page with all these colors and patterns!
Last but not least, I finished my layout by embellishing the scallops with cute Pick-Me-Up chipboard stickers.
I had so much fun putting this page together. I hope it inspires you to play with your Thickers and add a bit of sunshine to your projects! Thank you so much for visiting the blog today! Have a wonderful day!
