Hi Pink Paislee friends! It’s Elodie on the blog today with a new layout using the gorgeous Auburn Lane collection. With its beautiful flowers, elegant colors, and its touch of gold and woodgrain, Auburn Lane is perfect for fall projects. I couldn’t resist making another autumn page using a sweet photo of my youngest daughter playing in the garden with her teddy bear.
This time I went with a light background and picked the pretty Paper 04. I just love this newsprint pattern and how soft it looks!
I decided to create a banner at the top of the page and cut several pennants in papers from the 6×8 paper pad. I hand stitched the borders of the biggest one with white thread to add a bit of texture and folded them up before sticking them down for dimension.
I topped my banner with a couple of strips that I cut at the bottom of 12×12 papers. Then I backed the photo using another 6×8 paper and adhered it on the banner with foam squares to make it pop. The Auburn Lane colors go so well with my fall picture!
I adorned the photo with gorgeous flowers from the floral embellishment pack and a tab that I topped with a sticker. I completed my banner with cute pennant stickers and embellished it with a couple of puffy and cardstock stickers. For the title I used another sticker from the sticker book that I placed on a die cut right under the picture.
Next, I moved on to the bottom of the page where I added pretty rub-on flowers and a pink washi strip. I’m swooning over the pink tones in this collection. So delicate and beautiful! Finally, I completed my fall layout with shiny sequins from the mixed embellishment pack. These are the perfect finishing touch!
I love everything about this beautiful line and I hope my page inspires you to get it all! Thanks so much for joining me today! See you again soon!
