Hi everyone! Elodie here today and I’m happy to be back to share my newest Pink Paislee project with you. This week is all about birthdays and I made a set of bright birthday cards using the colorful Confetti Wishes collection.
The Confetti Wishes line includes a cardmaking kit that I used for my cards, along with other supplies from the collection. The kit contains everything you need to make 8 cards: cardstock and chipboard stickers, cards and envelopes. So handy and easy!
I started by topping two colorful cards from the kit with papers from the Confetti Wishes 6×6 paper pad. I hand stitched two of them with white thread for added detail and texture.
Next came the embellishing part. For the first card I tucked lovely die cuts in a paper pocket that I placed at the bottom of the card. I adorned my pocket with a doily, a pretty chipboard banner for the title, and cardstock stickers from the cardmaking kit. I added a cute chipboard parrot on the left side and finished embellishing my card with a chipboard heart from the kit and gold dots from the Confetti Wishes Thickers pack.
For the second card, I adhered a doily and a frame from the ephemera pack on the left side of the card. I then adorned the frame with chipboard and cardstock stickers from the kit. I turned a couple of stickers into pennants and tucked some others under the frame. I put the final touch on my card with a cute chipboard heart and shiny Thickers.
Making birthday cards with this collection is so easy and fun! I hope they inspire you to give cardmaking a try and play with the bright Confetti Wishes line! Thank you for visiting the blog today! Have a lovely day!
