Hey Pink Paislee fans! Today I want to share a layout with you that has lots of things that make me happy.
Using a photo of people you love is always a good way to start. Add in some flowers + my recent watercolor obsession and I was well on my way to happy!
After painting it, I backed a floral cut file with a variety of patterned papers from recent Pink Paislee 6×6 paper pads. I matched the colors as well as I could and tried to use subtle patterns that wouldn’t overwhelm the already intricate cut file. I love floral clusters. A lot. I could probably add flowers to every page from here until eternity and be happy.
I added a title using a sticker + the foam letter stickers from the Pick-Me-Up collection. Those Thickers are the gift that keeps on giving, am I right? I added a some gold shimmer to the white letters with an oil pastel.
I smudged some of the oil pastel on the cardstock around the flowers and sprinkled some gold mist for a little extra shimmer. Gold is definitely on my list of ingredients for happiness. Give me alllllll the gold! I used the cute little polaroids from the stickers and die cuts to add some journaling and stickers and called it done!
The end result makes me very happy indeed! You can see it come together in the video below.
What kind of pages make you happy? I’d love to see!
