Hello again, friends! Jen here to share a clean and simple (for me, anyway!) layout using the ever versatile 2×2 mini swatch books from the Pick-Me-Up and Turn the Page collections.
I chose colors that would coordinate with the fun Turn the Page background paper and Wild Child embellishments that went along with my sleeping-outside-on-the-trampoline photos.
I created a title using foam Thickers from the Pick-Me-Up collection + some from my stash. I like the nighttime feeling the navy evokes even though I used a bunch of other bright colors.
I cut my photos down to 2×2 and popped them up for emphasis. I added embellishments from the Wild Child collection and kind of tried to match them to the color square they went on top of.
The little tent die cut went perfectly with my photos and because it was so large I just replaced one of the squares in the grid with it. I added typed journaling in the empty squares. I love how a grid gives a home to all of the elements of my layout and it came together really quickly!
You can see it come together in the process video below!
How do you use the 2×2 mini swatch books? I hope you’ll try out a grid style layout!
