Multi-Photo Layout

See how you can incorporate multiple photos on your layout in a fun and easy way. #minialbum #multiphoto #scrapbooking

Hello there! Enza here and today I’m bringing you a new way (at least for me) to incorporate multiple photos on a layout. My initial idea was to create a mini album and use it as an interactive element on my page. That is actually what I did, using the Mini Album Card cut file designed by Paige Evans. I loved the idea of having an accordion mini album that unfolded to reveal photos and journaling. But once I was done with it, I realized the shape of the closed album was hard to incorporate into my design, so I fiddled with it a bit, until I came to the conclusion that it wouldn’t be a bad idea to adhere the fully open mini on a 12×12 patterned paper.

Now, in order to fit the album diagonally onto my background paper, I had to prevent the middle squares from laying flat; to do so, I just kept the accordion shape of the mini and adhered the front and back covers down completely with strong double-sided tape. I did the same with the middle section of the second row, to avoid any lifting. I know that many of you will wonder about the dimension of this page, and how I am going to fit it in an album. To be honest, I like the idea of displaying layouts on our family wall, so the dimension is not an issue for me.

I decorated my album with lots of stickers and ephemera pieces. To maintain continuity throughout, I matted the photos with patterned paper, added typed journaling, and added zig zag machine stitching over the folds to bring in extra texture.

I love the accordion book that comes with the cut file; it’s that interactive element that I really wanted for this layout.

In the pocket at the bottom I added a few more photos and some journaling. I then decorated it with rub-ons and a fussy-cut moth.

To finish the page I adhered one of the bar code paper strips at the bottom and added other elements such as moths and sentiments. I also used the Foam Mini Alpha from the Pick-Me-Up collection to spell the title of the page.

I love how this layout turned out and sure hope it has inspired you to create a multi-photo page to record your summer memories.
